SPLICING
Extensions can be welded to tapered sections or to other extensions as required. N extension cut-offs can be reused to lengthen other Monotube piles on the job. N sections are furnished longer than nominal lengths to provide for a telescopic splice. splice02.gif (6209 bytes)

First Step:
Burn or cut slits in valleys		 Second Step:
Crimp with tool or use sledge.

1. For 7 & 9 ga. piles, slit alternate valleys Third Step:
Insert cut-off and seat into pile to be extended and weld.
2. For 5 & 3 ga. piles, slit every valley
